This hammer is a thing of beauty—truly a gift for the woodworker who has everything. I never considered hammer tech much, but Zen-Wu really thought about how to improve the shop hammer and executed it with grace. The handle is grippy and absorbs sweat, unlike other lacquered or oiled handles.
The Damascus steel hammer is smaller than Zen-Wu’s titanium F-2 hammer, but it’s the same weight. The steel has a beautiful finish that makes a gorgeous addition to your shop. It has hardened steel on the faces, and softer iron in the middle, which means you can deliver serious strikes without taking all that shock and vibration to your wrist. More momentum is delivered to the workpiece, creating a better strike.
